Responsibilities

The technical project manager will lead the initiatives for development of applications and solutions for meeting client business requirements. The technical PM will have management responsibility for the full life cycle of the project, including planning, gathering requirements, design, development, testing, rollout and support. Responsibilities include leading a team at the client site, conducting daily meetings and providing weekly status reports and managing roll outs and proper documentation.

  • Developing WBS

  • Tracking project progress

  • Developing burn-rate and earned value reports

  • Documentation and rollout

Required

  • 8 to 10 years of IT project Management experience

  • Knowledge of end to end delivery of software project lifecycles

  • Experience in support and development engagements

  • Experience with agile and Scrum project management approaches

  • Experience with Primavera

  • Experience in planning and managing initiatives

Desired

  • Ability to effectively work with different types of business users and negotiate delivery dates

  • Ability to accurately estimate timelines for backlogged items

  • Ability to motivate consulting team members, set priorities and meet deadlines

  • Excellent client management and communication skills( written , verbal and documentation)

Good to have

  • PMI-PMP certification
